Bag checks shall ensure that all bag contents are visually inspected The person performing the bag check will politely ask the employee, vendor or visitor to open all their bags Checkers will not place their hands in the bags but will ask employees, vendors and visitors to move the contents and open items such as pockets, makeup bags, and zipper compartments until the bag has been completely inspected. After the inspection, the inspecting party accompanies the employee to the exit and then resumes their regular responsibilities. BAG CHECK for LDS
LDS follow the bag check policy outlined by the parent department store. Additional bag checks are not required by employees and vendors who follow the department stores process Employees visiting an LDS may not be required to follow the parent department store policy.
